The Bachelorette star Bekah Martinez hit the headlines as a “missing person” during the season. She has been one hell of an interesting woman. The reality show peaks with exciting and interesting stories, and that’s when Bekah takes the stage. The Los Angeles nanny was just 22 years when she joined the show. Hence, she was the youngest contestant marking the attention of many viewers. So, as she is no longer a part of the show, Bekah has finally revealed how she frauded her way into The Bachelorette. Tune in to find out.
The Bachelorette: What Crime Did Bekah Martinez Commit?
The reality star Bekah knows her way around the industry. And with The Bachelorette’s popularity, fans would love to be a part of the show. Likewise, Bekah entered the show with a band, and her “professional nanny” story is still famous for looking up for. Martinez started dating the 36-year-old race car driver, Arie Luyendyk Jr. The Bachelorette race car driver was about to become the love of Bekah’s life. However, by the 7th week, Bekah had to leave the show. Later, the production did ask her to join the show, but she declined the offer as she was in a relationship. Apart from this, the fans still remember how Bekah marked her entry.
As Arie Luyendyk Jr. loves race cars, Bekah showed up in a 1965 Ford Mustang winning his heart. Similarly, she earned two dates with Arie considering the heat of the competition. However, another contestant Tia meddled in between by warning the race car driver that Bekah’s age might be a problem for him in the future. Hence, since that day, she has never looked back. Well, moving forward in her life, Bekah is really in a good place. On Instagram, Bekah recently shared her experience about a crime she committed during the show. The Bachelorette star described how the contestants used to wear expensive and shimmery dresses. However, she didn’t have money to buy such expensive attires.
Hence, she used to borrow dresses from the families she worked for. And then, if there were anything extra or new she needed, she would go to Nordstrom Rack. Therefore, the reality star used to wear dresses with tags attached, and then she used to return them as new as ever. While some may feel that Bekah’s action was a minor transgression, it really isn’t the case. Per the Hogan and Hogan Law Firms, the practice of buying clothes, wearing them, and returning them with the tag is called wardrobing. Hence, it can cost a hefty amount to the firms with 10 billion dollars a year.
The Bachelorette: Will Bekah Get Punished?
When Bekah Martinez revealed the information, the fans were shocked. However, many sympathized with the reality star and noted she did what she needed to do. According to The Bachelorette fans, people do these kinds, and no one bats an eye. However, its’ a crime, and it should not be promoted. As the Hogan Law firms explained the action as a crime, Bekah’s case could be considered a fraud.
