Hope is living her worst nightmare on The Bold and The Beautiful. Nothing can be worse for a mother than being forced to stay away from her child. And thanks to Thomas, that’s exactly what’s happened to her. When he challenged Douglas’ full custody in court, he put the little boy in the terrible position of having to choose between him and Hope. Not wanting to choose one parent over the other, Little Douglas requested to be placed with Steffy. Douglas Moves In To The Cliff House
Hope was confident that when the judge asks Douglas to choose between her and Thomas, he would choose her on The Bold and The Beautiful. However, he stunned everyone by asking to stay with his aunt Steffy instead. Hope tearfully handed over her son to Steffy. Moreover, she also handed Steffy a long list of things to keep in mind regarding Douglas. Of course it wouldn’t be easy on any mother to give her son’s custody to someone else. But even Hope understands that if Douglas can’t live with her, then better Steffy than Thomas.

However, babysitting a kid for a few hours is entirely different than having a kid move in full-time. It is a lot of responsibility and changes the entire dynamic of the household. Perhaps this is why Finn feels reluctant about Douglas living with them. While at first glance, Finn’s concerns may seem excessive, but there is a possibility that Finn might be right. Their daughter Kelly knows her way around the area and usually stays clear of the cliff. But with adventurous Douglas around, that could change!

Kelly and Douglas are thick as thieves on The Bold and The Beautiful. They love each other’s company and love to enjoy new games together. Having her favorite cousin move in with her might feel like a dream come true for Kelly. Douglas feels disturbed by everything that he has gone through with Hope and Thomas, he might want to get over those feeling by getting busy in new adventures with Kelly.
