The Daytime Emmy-winning actress took to Instagram to share big news with her fans and followers. Heather and her family recently welcomed home a baby girl, Rosie!
The Bold and The Beautiful star was elated to introduce her newest family member on the gram. Heather Tom posted a carousel post with several pictures as Rosie’s debut on her social media. Heather shared that she along with her husband, musician James Achor, and their son, Zane adopted a cute little puppy. The Achor-Tom family already has a four legged furry member, Ella, and Rosie has become the perfect playmate for her.

The Bold and The Beautiful’s Katie shared that Rosie is her son, Zane’s first puppy, and he has even agreed to pick up her poop! As adorbs as that sounds, mommy Heather is not very convinced! “We’ll see”, she reacted to the little munchkin’s offer! For the uninitiated, a few months ago, the family lost their beloved furry member, Henry. Perhaps they felt a gaping hole in their lives and needed to bring in a new pal for Ella. While we are sure that no one can replace a lost loved one, there can certainly be a new place for new members! The heart knows how to expand and accommodate!
Heather Tom and her family adopted Rosie from a Rescue Home, Love Leo Shelter. It is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles. The Bold and The Beautiful star has won our hearts by adopting from a shelter instead of buying a pup from a pet store or a dog farm. These rescue puppies deserve a loving home just as much as anyone else. Moreover, it seems like Heather agrees with our sentiment. She thanked Love Leo Rescue for not just giving them Rosie but for all the puppies they have rescued. Basically, everything that they do.
Heather also shared that she loves Rosie’s ear that sticks straight up. The Bold and The Beautiful star pointed out that another dog bit out a chunk of Rosie’s ear. However, she loves the way it looks. And we agree, it really is just adorable! We are sure Rosie must be just as excited as Heather’s family to be home! We send our love to them all!
