During Halloween dear ol Don was just out and around his house clicking pictures of wife, Cindy Ambuehl handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. And, right then, the unthinkable happened. To The Bold and The Beautiful star’s surprise, superstar actor DUSTIN HOFFMAN, walked up for candy! Yes, you read that right! The world-famous actor Dustin Hoffman was out trick or treating with his wife and grandkids.

Don is a self-confessed major fan of the actor. So much so that he even has a signed poster of Dustin from 20 years ago when the two actors used to frequent a common breakfast spot. The Bold and The Beautiful star Don Diamont shared the story on Instagram, stating, “Dustin Hoffman brilliantly played Ratso Rizzo.” Praising the Oscar-nominated actor. Don approached him asking if he would sign the film poster that was already signed by actor Jon Voight. “He could not have been nicer, and was happy to. That framed poster hangs in our powder room.” Don shared.
Not wanting to let go of the fateful meet-cute moment. Don approached Dustin and invited him into his house. And as wonderful as the superstar is he and his wife were more than happy to oblige. The Bold and The Beautiful star even showed the signed poster to Dustin and recalled the whole incident to him.
