The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 has started airing new episodes for the season, and now we are waiting for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Episode 5. Four seasons of the season are out, and it wouldn’t be a lie if we’d say that we are on the edge of our seats. Every episode has new twists, and it looks like we are in for more.

What Has Happened So Far?
The fourth episode of The Handmaid’s Tale started with June and Janine as they make an escape. June has to convince Janine that Alma, Briana, and the other handmaids with them are now dead, and they have to keep moving. They decide to move west. Both jump in a milk refrigerator, and it looks like their inner demons started taking over in the tough situations around them.
Elsewhere Rita and Moira meet where Moira tells her that she couldn’t find any record of her sister or nephew in any refugee camps. However, she would keep looking. She assures her that it is possible that they might have entered the country under false names. Not just that, Moira delivered the news that Serena wants to see Rita. The two women then discuss whether Rita would visit Serena or not.
It looks like Rita did decide to go and see Serena in the hope of closure. As Rita sees Serena, she tells her that she is pregnant and the baby is a boy. Serena also tells Rita that she does not intend to tell Commander about this pregnancy either. Back with June and Janine, cracks seem visible between them.
Janine then starts questioning June. In the dark times, a demon from the past comes to haunt Janine. She even starts accusing June of ratting them out. It looks like Janine has started getting on her nerves which ends with June saying that she should have left her a long time ago.
Back with Rita, she goes to visit Fred and handed him over the sonography film and asks him to take care of his family, saying that it isn’t her job anymore. On the other hand, some people attack the train that is going to the war front, and while Janine is skeptical about it, June decided to go with them. It looks like the only option they have in order to save themselves. So, they go with them. It looks like things won’t get easy for them even after any of this. They will have to pay the price for everything they get.
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 4 Episode 5: What Will Happen Next?
The fourth episode ended by reminding both June and Janine of the horrors of their past. June is reminded of the slavery she has been through, and Janine is constantly reminded of the abortion, her son Caleb and her life. Now, in the upcoming episode, titled- ‘Chicago,’ both of them will get ready to fight whatever is coming their way. June will go looking for more allies.
And in the meantime, with Janine’s help, she might adjust with the group of new survivors. These women are now in Chicago. So, which is also the war front. In the meantime, they will also be fighting with their inner demons and everything that is going on emotionally. June has left Hannah behind, and now Janine is getting flashes of her child. It will indeed get difficult for these mothers.
Back in the Gilead, it looks like Aunt Lydia is working very hard to prepare what seems like a new batch of handmaids. The promo for the upcoming episode is out, and viewers can witness aunt Lydia as she prepares these Handmaids for what’s coming next for her. She says that they are the sacred vessels of the Lord, and their charges will be hard.
They will be tested by wicked men. Their bond to each other will be strong. And, from this day forward, none of them will ever walk alone. In the meantime, the video sees a montage of various commanders, including commander Laurence and Nick. So, it looks like things are about to get even more intense.
In Canada, Luke and Moira will continue to find homes for everyone who has come back from Gilead, while it looks like Rita will embrace her newfound freedom. However, things will not be easy for Fred and Serena. Now that Fred knows that Serena is pregnant, he will want to participate in the baby’s life.
While all Serena wanted was to separate her interests from Fred, what would she do now? She will indeed feel betrayed when it comes to Rita. How would she deal with that now?
