Princess Kate Makes First Public Appearance Post-Surgery!
Princess Kate underwent the “planned major abdominal surgery” in January at a London clinic. However, she remained MIA from the public setting which raised eyebrows like anything. Subsequently, speculation about her whereabouts and health status had made headlines. More so, Prince William’s unexpected backing out of a memorial service last week only added fuel to the fire.
Well, it all comes to rest now but people still wonder when Princess Kate will resume her royal duties. Earlier, Kensington Palace stated that she was unlikely to continue public duties until after Easter. At the time, Middleton apologised for postponing her engagements, emphasising her desire to maintain normalcy for her children.
Kate was initially recuperating at Windsor only to continue her recovery at the family’s Norfolk country home, Anmer Hall. It offers a peaceful environment with privacy and space away from the hustle and bustle. Furthermore, royal watcher Jennie Bond shared the inside scoop on Kate’s recovery. She suggested that Middleton has likely received fantastic gifts and hampers from her close pals to cheer her up.
Anyway, if all goes as planned, Middleton’s first engagement back could be at the family service at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The service will be held on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.
