Queen Camilla is back to the royal action after hanging out with King Charles for a bunch of special occasions. Recently, the Queen met a group of young bloods from Changemakers at Buckingham Palace. It is a youth group linked to SafeLives, which Camilla has been backing since 2020. SafeLives’ motto is to put an end to domestic abuse. Queen Camilla: Queen Camilla Jumps Back to Work
The young folks Queen Camilla met up with are between 14 and 20 years old. They focus on battling issues young people face, especially when it comes to healthy relationships. So, the group shared their latest ventures and ideas with the Queen and the executives from SafeLives, Ellen Miller, and Isabel Boyer. Moreover, SafeLives shared pictures from the meet-up, saying it was remarkable and rejuvenating. They wrote, “A fantastic, energising conversation at the Palace today.”
And guess what? Queen Camilla is totally on board with combating abuse before it even starts. They added, “Our brilliant Changemakers will continue to amplify young voices and make meaningful change for the next generation.” Well, the senior royal has always been quite vocal about supporting survivors of abuse for ages. Furthermore, she gave a nod to SafeLives while launching a new hub in Scotland and later an exhibition in England. Both of them shone a light on domestic abuse.
The latest appearance of Queen Camilla marks her return to work after celebrating her 19th anniversary with King Charles and their Easter outing at church. Meanwhile, King Charles takes it easy during cancer treatment, with Camilla stepping in for him. She has been keeping busy with her royal rituals. Additionally, Princess Kate also took a breather due to her cancer diagnosis. So, Camilla’s role in the royal space has become even more prominent.
Luckily, Prince William is gearing up to join Camilla in tackling the mounted work. The Prince will be out and about in southwest London and Surrey on April 18.
