Finally, after a long wait, The Sinner Season 4 breaks the ice revealing three major cast addition, including Ozark star Michael Mosley. Well, the series is known for its anthology style, mainly focuses on the reason behind the crime. This is what makes the USA Network’s anthology series different from other intrepid crime solvers, mysteries, and murder cases. Now The Sinner is all set to return with another appealing case that would indeed sweep you off your feet.
Initially inspired by Petra Hammesfahr’s novel, The Sinner focuses on various crimes taking place in the city. However, each crime is related to some different sinner. But the detective Harry Ambrose always remains as the New York detective who’s solving these cases. But as the series proceeds, each case turns darker than the previous one, leads to cause more trouble for empathic loner detective Harry.
The Sinner Season 4: Who Will Be In The Cast?
The Deadline recently broke the news that Ozark star Michael Mosley joins as the series regular. Mosley will appear as Colin Muldoon, a loyal son of Meg Muldoon and the rugged lobsterman. Colin even helped raise his niece, Percy, and go to any length to protect his family. Well, Mosley has recently appeared alongside John Slattery in Fox’s sci-fi series Next. He also starred in the Netflix crime drama Seven Seconds opposite Regina King and Ozark.
Recently, Alice Kremelberg also joined the team as Percy Muldoon. Percy is a tough and charismatic young woman who belongs to an ultra-wealthy fishing family. Her traits helped her to succeed in the male-dominating world of fishing. Besides, Watchmen star Frances Fisher will also appear in the fourth run in a mysterious role. Fisher’s other credits include Unforgiven, Titanic, The Killing, Torchwood, Masters of Sex, Resurrection, and Eureka.
Who Will Return?
Well, the connecting thread of the series, emphatic Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman), will indeed return. Jessica Biel as Cora Tannetti, Matt Bomer as Jamie Burns, and Carrie Coon as Vera Walker might return. Well, the show was initially expected only to be a one-off limited series. But it later expanded to an anthology series following the success of the show. So, there’s a slim chance that some members would recur. But as of now, there’s no official news about it.
The Sinner Season 4: When Will Filming Begin?
The Sinner is among those TV series that faced brutal production halt due to the ongoing crisis. But, after a year-long wait, we finally learned that filming would start soon. As per the reports, the fourth season would soon start filming in Nova Scotia, Canada, in May. But there’s a high chance that filming would start late this month. It will continue filming in UCP studio following the health protocol and other safety measures.

Though the USA Network has yet to announce the official air date of the fourth season. But last June, the network teased that The Sinner Season 4 will air in 2021. Now that filming would start soon next month, we can expect that the fourth season would air sometime this fall.
