What Would Happen Next?

The first season of The Wilds did set a potential storyline for the upcoming season 2 of the series. The first thing on the list is the mystery of The Dawn of Eve and The Twilight of Adam. These stories were not unpacked in the first season. The experiment Gretchen started with the girls had only begun.

She stated that this crash and the rescue were only the first phases of their experiment. Leah came to know that the boys in The Twilight of Adam were the control group. The Wilds foreshadows that both of the groups will come to blows in the upcoming The Wild Season 2. If we assume that Nora survived the events of the island, her role as a double agent will very likely lead to some conflict in The Wilds Season 2.

By the end of the first season, there were a number of characters whose fates were unclear. The show teased that both Nora and Martha were dead. So, The Wilds Season 2 will confirm the status of both of them. Aside from unraveling the secrets of The Dawn of Eve, the fascinating mystery that the second season will explore is Shelby’s fate. On the island, she was a beauty queen who successfully presented a perfect exterior. Today, she was portrayed as someone who was injured with a buzz cut and also suffered from a dissociative identity disorder. While she managed to be lucid, she slipped Leah a note telling her how she was right about something. Shelby’s revelations and transformation prove that there is a lot that is left to be explored in The Wilds Season 2.
