We know soap operas have a habit of being extra mean to certain characters. The Young and The Restless is no exception! There are a plethora of characters on the famous CBS soap that are always getting the shorter end of the stick. Tucker McCall has been one such character ever since he returned to The Young and The Restless. He came back to Genoa City hoping to reignite love with his former flame Ashley. Meanwhile, also desperately wanting to reconnect with his estranged son, Devon.
Initially, it felt like he was making progress in mending his terms with the parties of his interest on The Young and The Restless. However, soon enough, things started to fall apart as they usually do on soaps. For the lack of handling things better, Tucker gave Devon the impression that he was trying to take over his company. Unfortunately for him, Ashley stood witness to the showdown between father and son and decided she’d rather not let Trevor back in her life. Thus, skipping town and jetting off to Paris.
However, before leaving for Paris on The Young and The Restless, Ashley filled her daughter Abby in on what had transpired between her, Tucker, and Devon. The update pissed Abby off, and she held on to her mother’s grudge against Tucker. But that’s not all the trouble Mr. McCall has to tackle! Life isn’t easy on him on the professional front, either! Victor and Victoria are planning a hostile takeover of his company! Talk about adding insult to injury! Although, a glimmer of hope has just started to shine for dear Tucker!
And She Is Back With A Ray Of Hope On The Young And The Restless
The Young and The Restless star Melissa Ordway shared a snapshot from the sets on her official Instagram account that teased the return of a character that could bring relief to Tucker! Melissa’s picture featured her alongside Trevor St. John (Tucker) and, ta-da, EILEEN DAVIDSON! Yes! Ashley is back on the sets of The Young and The Restless! So don’t be surprised when you see Ashley walking into the living room in the upcoming episodes!
It’s true that Ashley has now turned her back on Tucker on The Young and The Restless, but things like that have a tendency to flip rather fast! So all is not lost for Tucker McCall! Perhaps when Ashley returns, she will have calmed down a little, and Tucker might be able to make his case with her! But will Ashley give him yet another chance? Tell us in the comments below!
