Just as Diane managed to survive Phyllis, Ashley, and Nikki’s takedown attempts on The Young and The Restless, Phyllis unleashed a new hell! Phyllis did everything in her power to set Diane up for a certain downfall. However, spoilers suggest that all her schemes are about to backfire spectacularly! By putting Diane in harm’s way, Phyllis has unwittingly brought Jack’s protection to her, and looks like Diane is about to win this fight against Phyllis with Jack on her side!
Phyllis Plants Jeremy In Diane’s Path
Phyllis, Ashley, and Nikki were convinced that once they expose Diane in front of everyone, the reformed bad girl will escape town with her tail between her legs. However, they couldn’t be farther from their gal on The Young And The Restless. Not only did their plan fail of chasing Diane out of Geona City, it brought her closer to her son Kyle and her ex-flame, Jack. Kyle made it clear that he was not willing to lose his mother all over again. Meanwhile, Jack made it clear to the women to back off and let Diane be. Ashley and Nikki, at this point decided to retract as they didn’t want to cause Diane any bodily harm. However, Phyllis had different things in mind.
Phyllis got in touch with Diane’s old partner from L.A. in The Young and The Restless. A man none other than Jeremy Stark. Diane ratted out Jeremy to the cops in exchange for immunity. And now that Jeremy is released, he wants revenge. Phyllis directed his attention straight to where Diane could be found, The Abbott Mansion. Jeremy lost no breath before landing up at the Abbott doorstep and frightening the literal daylights out of Diane Jenkins! Does that mean, Phyllis has finally accomplished her mission? Well, that’s not happening till the time Jack Abbott has Diane’s back!
Jack Comes To Diane’s Rescue On The Young And The Restless
Diane Jenkins is shaken by seeing Jeremy in the flesh, right in front of her. Her face remains ashen even after Jeremy leaves the Abbott Mansion on The Young and The Restless. However, much to her relief, Jack Abbott has her back. Not only does he calm her down but also promises her that he is right by her side and he won’t let Jeremy hurt her. Diane has another round of terror when Jeremy sends her a sinister message saying she should not involve the Abbotts in her battle. But Jack once again assures her that he is with her and they will together fight back, Jeremy.
Jack asks Diane for the whole story of what happened and what Jeremy wants from her on The Young and The Restless. Diane tells him that besides ratting him out, she also kept a chunk of his money and used it to rebuild her life. She tells Jack that Jeremy now wants payback. Jack assures her that even if she has used up the money, he will pay Jeremy off on her behalf. However, Diane insists that she does not want to take anything from him now. Jack comforts Diane with a hug and assures her that they will figure it out. For a second there, it looked like the two of them will close in for a kiss. But, hey, even if they didn’t this time, we can certainly sense it coming up soon!
Looks like Phyllis is going to regret planting Jeremy back in Diane’s life. As, instead of chasing Diane out of Geona City, his return has brought Jack closer to Diane in at attempt to protect her.
