The Young And The Restless viewers know that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going through a lot lately. She has broken up with Nick, Jack is away, and Phyllis certainly has nothing to do as of now. In fact, in the latest The Young And The Restless episode, when Phyllis sat down with Amanda for drinks, she clearly says that she needs something to do or else she would lose her mind.
Taking all of this into account, it looks like The Young And The Restless is writing her in the corner. Phyllis doesn’t have any hot storyline going on. While there was one building around Jack since he had left Genoa City, for now, that storyline is now on hold. So, what would happen to Phyllis?
In the latest The Young And The Restless episode, something very interesting happened. By the end of the episode, Phyllis got a call from Summer Newman, who told her that there was a job opening at Marchetti that Phyllis might be interested in. This makes us think, is the Young And The Restless building to Phyllis Summer’s exit? After all, getting an offer to live in Milan with her daughter and her family isn’t something that Phyllis might want to leave.
Not only this, but Jack is also in Milan right now, working on some collaboration with Kyle. So, Phyllis might want to be around him. Given how she had been crying about not having anything to do, it is likely that she will jump on the first opportunity to get something to do. She has nothing left back in Genoa City.
