If Phyllis follows Tucker’s instructions, he can manipulate Carson to blame Stark for everything.
Phyllis can play the victim, with Carson even claiming that Jeremy kidnapped her. This narrative will make it difficult for Christine to prove anything since nobody witnessed Phyllis and Stark’s interactions. He enjoys the chase but seems disinterested in the mundane aspects of being in a committed relationship. When Ashley brings up Diane, he dismisses it as boredom.
