In the recent episode of The Young And The Restless, Victor gathered Nikki, his three children, and Nate in his office for an important conversation. Victor admitted that he’s been acting strangely and needs treatment. This came as a relief to Victoria, Nick, and Adam, who had been worried about their father for weeks.
There, Victor asks everyone what they think he should do to get help. So, Nate suggested that Victor should go to a voluntary in-patient facility where doctors can offer him top-notch care and understand his condition better. When questioned further, Nate assured that they can use NDAs to keep Victor’s health issue private. He also suggested they could come up with a story to explain Victor’s absence from Newman Enterprises.
However, the suggestion didn’t go well with Adam and he immediately rejected it. He said that in the modern age, NDAs are not foolproof. He revealed that the news would leak out if Victor went to the hospital, and that would create problem for Victor and his company. The youngest Newman son suggested that doctors and equipment come to Victor, either at the Newman Ranch or Newman Towers. Adam pointed out that Victor can afford it, and this plan keeps Victor’s health situation private. Surprisingly, even Victoria agreed with Adam, which was quite rare.
To cut it short, Nate’s suggestion of Victor going to a facility and his insistence that Victoria takes over as CEO if Victor leaves, prompted Victor to start revealing the truth. Right before he explained everything, Victor surprised everyone by firing Nate. Yes, you heard it right! Nate, the good doctor and Victoria’s boyfriend, has been officially let go from his job. The Young and the Restless fans are aware that Mamie has been urging Nate to go back to Chancellor-Winters. She wanted all her great-nephews and great-niece to work together under the same family business roof. Before Nate lost his job, he didn’t want to work with Devon and Lily anymore. And Devon and Lily don’t trust Nate because he had betrayed them at Chancellor-Winters earlier. Even though they are being polite to each other now, but they still haven’t fully made up.
