The Young and the Restless recap for Friday, September 2, 2022, revealed the story of Diane’s fiasco. First, Victor warned Nikki to not mess with the Abbott family in her plans to take Diane down. Meanwhile, Adam apologized to Sally for his behavior and asked her to believe him.
Kyle heard about Adam accepting the Jabot position. Summer talked about missing her wedding celebrations in Milan. Kyle decided to recreate the wedding in Genoa City, at the Abbott mansion. `Diane saw the headline of Talia’s new story but was unbothered.
Victor Warns Nikki
In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we saw Victor ask Nikki about her plans to ruin Diane’s life. Victor knew Nikki had a plan with Talia’s new article. He reminded her Diane was Kyle and Summer’s family, he did not want their young family to be hurt in the process. Other than that, he was okay with any plans to drive Diane out of town.
Speaking of Summer, she was suspicious about Talia’s new story. She confronted Phyllis at Society but decided to cool down because she did not want to babysit her mother. Kyle and Summer had decided to let their parents be and not babysit them on their journey.
The Young And The Restless Recap: Adam Apologizes To Sally
At Crimson Lights, Adam found Sharon and Nick helping Faith with her college plans. Faith was heading to Michigan and thanked Adam for his kidney donation. Later, Adam confessed to joining Jabot in a private conversation with Sharon. She warned him not to do this in spite of Victor, but Adam assured her that was not the case.
Sharon was happy for him. She suggested Sally would be happy to hear the news. Adam was upset to know Sally was talking about him to Sharon. Sharon defended Sally and scolded him for caring when he does not want to be with Sally anymore. Sally arrived and Adam told her about his new position at Jabot. Adam acknowledged his conversation with Chloe and told her it was the opposite, he was sorry.
He added that he did not want her to become collateral damage in his family feud. Sally was doing well and proved her worth to one and all. He insisted that she knew him best and would know his apology was sincere.
Kyle Plans A Celebration
Further, The Young And The Restless spoilers say that Kyle heard about Adam’s new position at Jabot. He was not happy but respected Jack’s decision. Summer wanted a wedding celebration in Genoa City. Kyle decided to plan an event at the Abbott mansion. Jack was honored and decided to make this celebration a grand success.
Diane overheard the conversation and Kyle told her all about it. She thought this was a romantic plan and offered to help her son. Summer and Phyllis arrived and saw them share a happy moment. Phyllis showed Diane the shocking headline on Talia’s website. She read, “The Long and Winding Road of Diane Jenkins: Back from the Dead.” The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
