Jill Meets Diane and Jack; Things Get Heated
In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we see Jill enjoy a cup of coffee with Diane and Jack. She has a lot to say about Diane’s return to Genoa City. However, all in all, she has welcomed her back with warm regards.
Jill is impressed with Diane for pulling off her fake death. Faking her death and coming back to the community takes a lot of courage, doesn’t it? Diane is not very happy about how things turned out. She feels bad about having lied to her own son. Jill stops short and asks her to embrace whatever kindness she has coming her way. Of course, Jill knows what it is like to be rejected by the town.
Of course, Jill was never on the list of suspects for Diane’s “murder”. Jill jokes about how people might react seeing the two of them sitting together like this. The three of them joke about how different they are from what they were like in the past. Jack leaves, and Jill stays behind for a chat with Diane.
All Diane wants is her son, she tells her. Jill assures that being with an eligible and well-liked person like Jack would definitely help her get her reputation back. Diane quickly corners Jill and accuses her of wanting Jack for herself. Eventually, Diane agrees that she would be a fool to reject Jack’s interest in her.
The Young And The Restless: Summer And Kyle Plan Career Moves; Jack Arrives
Meanwhile, our lovebirds, Summer, and Kyle, are planning the rest of their lives. Kyle is worried about the drop in numbers for Marchetti. There is an opening for the CEO position there. Summer’s mind is working ahead of time. She suggests Kyle step down from her role as co-CEO at Jabot and try his luck. Later on, in this episode of The Young and the Restless, we see Kyle discuss his career movies with Jack. Jack is confused at first but understands his decision to move.
They take some time to sleep on the decision before making any announcements. Furthermore, Jack talks about his dinner with Diane after the launch party. Summer wants to hear all about what happened between Jack and Phyllis. Jack is hesitant and asks Summer to ask her mother all about it. Kyle is happy to hear that his parents are trying to work it out. But Summer can sense the tension in the air.
Nikki Worries For Victor, Victoria Has A Fresh Start
Well, things are getting messy with the Newmans in this episode of The Young and the Restless. Nikki has had enough of the drama with Victoria. She wonders why the family has to keep treating her like a baby. Of course, she is Victor’s daughter after all, and he will do everything to have her in his corner.
At Society, she tells Victor that Victoria was not answering her phone. They can’t believe that she really left the way she did. Victor notes how Adam thinks it’s weak of Victoria to leave with Ashland. Nikki adds how they pushed their daughter to her limits, leading to the decision she made. However, she is afraid that Victoria may never leave Ashland despite the monster he is. Victor is convinced that Victoria will see the light soon.
Nikki is worried about this pattern in Victoria’s behavior. She thinks that this won’t do her any good. Victoria had the ability to find her footing by herself, despite Ashland’s intentions. Will Ashland let her down again? Of course, Victor has a plan to stop that from happening. He is just waiting for the couple to make their next moves. Meanwhile, away from the drama of Genoa City, Victoria and Ashland have a terrific night in New York City. Ashland is making moves against Adam and Victor, and Victoria has her own plans.
Ashland has found a place for them to stay in. There, she tells Ashland that she does not want the Newmans to be involved in their new company. Victoria wants to explore art and the digital world in her new venture. To this, Locke commends her for her decision and acknowledges how scary it is. He assures her that they will figure everything out and lead a happy life.
The Young And The Restless: Adam Celebrates With Sally; Spend The Night Together
Finally, in this episode of The Young and the Restless, we see Adam enjoy the news of his new position. First tasks on the job? Getting rid of her sister and ex-CEO Victoria’s portrait from the office. Sally has brought in the champagne to celebrate Adam’s new job. She suggests that they should christen the Newman Enterprises office the same way they had christened the Newman Media office. They love each other deeply and enjoy the rest of the night together.
