The Young and the Restless recap for June 21, 2022, relays the ongoing drama between Phyllis and Jack. Phyllis is back in town but decides to be incognito for a while. In her disguise, she hears a few things she didn’t need to. Meanwhile, Jack offers an exciting new internship to Allie, but she is yet to make a decision.
In another part of town, Summer is still worried about the rising tensions between Diane and Summer. Lauren arrives at the Abbott mansion and suggests Diane should make an apology to Phyllis. Summer likes the idea and decides that brokering peace between Phyllis and Diane is inevitable now.
Kyle Warns Summer To Stay Out Phyllis and Jack’s Lives
In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we see Summer Newman Abbott at the Abbott mansion. She is busy with the ongoing drama between Phyllis and Jack. She believes Diane could have a hand in the mess.
Kyle tells her to keep her nose out of this business once again. However, Summer is worried about what might happen after Phyllis comes home. Summer suggests that she may still have loose ends to tie up in LA which reassures Kyle of his mother’s return to Genoa City.
He mentions that Diane is looking for a PR job which swirls the conversation toward the new Marchetti CEO position. Summer is thinking ahead and tries to convince him to take the job. Finally, Kyle agrees and decides to have a chat with Jack about it.
The Young And The Restless: Lauren Baldwin Arrives, Phyllis Lies To Diane
Next, Lauren Baldwin arrives at the Abbott mansion. She arrives in this episode of The Young and the Restless to hear a pitch about an upcoming collaboration that would make Fenmore an exclusive partner with Marchetti in the United States.
Meanwhile, in another world, Phyllis arrives at her suite in disguise, she wants to keep her return under the wraps for now. She has a conversation with Summer on the phone and pretends to still be in Savannah with Daniel Romalotti Junior. The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Phyllis is disappointed to hear that Diane is still in town. However, she will not break her pretense and tell Diane that her anger will slowly fade away. Later, she overhears a conversation between Jack and Diane at Crimson Lights – he is telling her how he feels he deserved someone better than Phyllis…Oh no!
Summer Makes A Decision, Jack Offers Allie An Internship
Once Kyle leaves the house, Lauren suggests a collaboration between Diane and Phyllis. This will light a bulb in Summer’s mind, bringing the two of them together might be the only way forward for everyone. She is now determined to bring Phyllis and Diane together.
In another part of town, at Crimson Lights, Jack has a conversation with Allie about a summer internship at the Jabot lab. Allie does not want to join in someone else’s place and Jack reassures her that this is not the case. In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we learn that her position would be of a lead researcher.
Allie tells Jack that she needs to sleep over this information before she can make a final decision. Jack mentions how Noah would be happy to hear about Allie’s current achievements. Allie shares a list of people she finds sweet in town, she also mentions Diane despite the mistakes she has made in the past.
