Sally And Adam Get Cosy, Adam Wants To Impress Dad
In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we saw Sally Spectra arrive at her new office and attend calls. She is seen adorning her nameplate. Someone sure is happy to be CEO! On the other hand, Adam is making himself home in Victoria’s old office. Victor is seen observing the two of them and their work at Newman Enterprises.
Adam does not see a point in waiting before making his decisions as CEO. Soon, he figures out that this was all a ploy by his father to bring Victoria back. Despite his anger, he acknowledges how smart the move was. Too bad it backfired! Instead of getting disheartened, Adam has decided to make his mark in the new role.
The Young And The Restless: Victor Warns Adam, Heads To Society
Further, in this episode of The Young and the Restless, we see Victor getting candid. He warns Adam that he too had been in the same position as him once. He admits to feeling that Adam does not always make the best decisions. Adam learns his lesson and admits that yes, he too has been arrogant and will work on improving on his duties.
Nothing to fear, Adam is more excited than ever before. He makes a confident pitch for himself as the CEO of Newman Enterprises. Only time will tell if he will do a good job before a new scandal breaks into the family. While the father-son are in conversation, Michael arrives, Victor excuses himself and heads to Society with him.
Nick And Nikki Are Worried About Victoria, Victor Seeks Michael’s Help
Meanwhile, at Crimson Lights, Nick Newman has a candid conversation with Nikki Newman. In this episode of The Young and the Restless, the two will share their fears about Victoria’s future. Nick is worried about her reaction to the news of Adam becoming the new CEO. Nikki wonders if this decision may bury the final nail in the coffin, convincing Victoria to never come back.
Well, we all know that the Newmans already have a new plan up their sleeve. Nikki hints at this plan during the conversation. At Society, Victor shares his plan to get Victoria back with Michael. He seeks Michael’s help in locating Victoria and Ashland.
The Young And The Restless: Billy Leaves Victoria A Voice Note
In another part of town, Billy Abbott leaves a voicemail to Victoria in the hopes to smooth things over with her. He insists that he just wants her to be happy and has no intentions of fighting for custody. Lily overhears the voicemail and is happy to hear that Billy has taken her advice seriously.
They talk about Jill’s worry that Billy is self-sabotaging. Billy assures Lily that he is not doing that, he is just on a new journey. He is happy to hear about the success of the podcast and wants to keep the happy news coming. However, Lily is worried that Billy might be withdrawing himself from her and the Chancellor-Winters.
He promises her that he has decided to stick to this plan and will continue to do so. Later on, Billy is surprised to know about Chelsea and Rey’s friendship.
