The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, September 14, 2022, revealed the story of Nate and Sally. First, we saw Victoria and Lily catch up with each other about their CEO roles. Devon asked Nate to talk openly, and they got into an argument. Nate resigned from his job, but Lily refused to accept his resignation.
Meanwhile, Sally leaned in and kissed Nick. Before they knew it, they were making out passionately. Adam knocked on the door but left when they did not respond. Later, Adam saw them at Society and joined them for dinner. He was curious about what was happening because he saw Nick walk Sally home.
Victoria & Lily Have A Chat
In this episode of The Young and the Restless, we saw Victoria and Lily in conversation at Crimson Lights. They congratulated each other on their recent work as CEOs. Furthermore, they also talked about the importance of having a great team. Victoria suggested working with Billy could be quite the challenge. Lily informed her he had quit working on his podcasts and was working as a COO full-time.
The Young And The Restless Recap: Devon Confronts Nate, Nate Quits
Meanwhile, Devon asked Nate to share what was on his mind. Nate asked Devon to acknowledge he was shutting Nate down. Devon countered it by saying Nate thinks he knows what’s best, as seen in his decision to launch the party despite everyone’s disapproval. Furthermore, Devon brought Nate’s past as a surgeon and accused him of having a God complex.
Nate was furious and sarcastically asked Devon to punch him again. Billy interrupted their argument and tried to calm them down. Nate told him there was no more fighting as he was done with Devon and the job. Billy tried to stop him, but Nate insisted he wanted to quit. However, Lily rejected his resignation when she learned about it. Lily was ready to sit with them and solve their issues.
Nate was not willing to talk about this anymore. He left for Society to get a drink. He called Elena but got her voicemail. Imani saw him and asked him what was wrong. He told her about the showdown with Devon and Lily. Imani was disappointed to learn he had quit the job.
Sally & Nick Make Out, Adam Arrives
Meanwhile, in this episode of The Young and the Restless, Sally leaned in for a kiss. They pulled back briefly, and then Nick and Sally made out passionately. Adam knocked on the door and called out Sally’s name. Sally and Nick paused, but Adam left and continued to make out. Later, Nick invited Sally for dinner, and she accepted his invitation.
At Society, Jack struggled to understand Victor’s decision to let go of Adam. Victor offered his condolences about Keemo Nguyen, and they discussed Allie. They joked about the new messy romance between Allie and Noah. Adam saw Jack and Victor and decided to ignore them. Later, he saw Nick and Sally eating together and asked if he could join them.
