Sally has caught the entrepreneurial bug and decided to kickstart her own business. With financial backing from Nick, she aimed to make waves in Genoa City with her fresh interior design venture. After lots of careful planning and a big desire to succeed, she landed her first major project with Daniel. He asked Sally to design his new bachelor pad. But before meeting Daniel, Sally took some time to chat with her friend Chloe at Crimson Lights.
In the recent episode of The Young and the Restless, Chloe sat down with Sally at the coffee shop, and right away, she noticed Sally’s happy and cheerful mood. Sally quickly explained that her excitement was because of her upcoming first meeting with Daniel. Soon after, Sally invited Chloe to join the client meeting, and Chloe gladly agreed. The two friends met with Daniel at his new place, impressing him with their effortless collaboration of ideas. Furthermore, Sally and Chloe seemed to enjoy working together to create a vision. This spontaneous and creative teamwork was just what Chloe needed to realize that working for Summer wasn’t the best choice for her.
In the upcoming episode, Chloe told Summer and Chelsea she’s not sure if they can keep working together at Marchetti. Chloe said it’s hard to make sure all three of them have a say in projects. She also mentioned how much she liked working with Sally. To finish the talk, Chloe told the two women she’s leaving Marchetti. After hearing this, it seems like Chloe will probably start working with Sally in her new business. Considering how well Chloe and Sally worked together on Daniel’s project and their history of successful teamwork, it just makes sense for these two friends to team up in business.
It’s even more logical when you think about how, in this new possibility, they won’t have to answer to Summer, Adam, or Victor. While Nick is still Sally’s main investor, it looks like he prefers a hands-off approach, making us believe he won’t be too involved in overseeing things. The only thing left to wonder is whether Sally will be open to having Chloe join her business full-time. We’re betting on a definite yes. But, we also wish Chloe and Sally would go a step beyond and come up with a plan to buy Nick out, allowing them to operate independently and without any ties to the Newman name.
