However, before Summer left, she had a private meeting with Lauren, where she gave her some ideas that would make the transition easier. The most surprising suggestion was Summer recommending Sally to replace her. But with Summer and Sally’s past, it just did not seem right that Summer would recommend someone like Sally to fill in for the job. Could there be more to this storyline? It looks like so.

First, Lauren did not offer Sally the job until Summer made the recommendation. Not just that, Lauren said that Sally would be “acting president” until she learns everything.
Lauren said that they also would have to be sure that Sally was a good fit. All of this just suggests that Sally being the president could be temporary. This could only mean two things, either Summer does not plan to go away for so long, or she has come up with a scheme.

So, this will include her putting up some helpful notes or maybe even having remote access to the computer Sally might be using. While we agree this isn’t the kind of thing Summer would do, but we can’t rule out that Summer’s whole life just got ripped apart. And she knows that Sally and Tara did it. So, she would do everything she can to make sure that they pay for it.
What could all of this really be? It feels really odd that Summer would give up on Kyle and everything she had planned with him without a fight. So, it is possible that she might have a plan to not only bring Sally and Tara’s truth out but to destroy them. We will have to wait to see what happens there.
