The Young and The Restless is currently circling Sally, Nick, and Adam’s torrid love triangle. The famous CBS soap has even thrown in pregnancy and paternity confusion in the mix to make the tale all the more tantalizing. Ever since the storyline started, the Y&R fandom has been divided into two parts. While one is supporting Sally and Nick, the other is rooting for Sally’s reunion with Adam. But what really is the future of this triangle? Which Newman brother will win the damsel’s favor? Actor Joshua Morrow (Nick) has something to say about his future with Sally and, more importantly, the reason behind this pairing!
In a recent chat with Soaps She Knows, Joshua Morrow admitted that every person on The Young and The Restless is telling Nick that this relationship is bad for him. However, Nick can’t help himself as he is really crazily in love with Sally. Moreover, Joshua confessed that Nick knows Sally still has feelings for Adam, and that makes the situation really messy. Also, that’s why they are walking on very shaky ground. However, he still believes that he is the right choice for Sally. He is ignoring everyone who is telling him that this will end badly. Perhaps Nick really is ignoring the reality of his situation with Sally.
The Young and The Restless star points out that Nick is in a really tough spot with the baby being Adam’s. Yet, he is doing his best to be there for Sally when she really needs him. But Alas! Nick has been in similar situations before, and it seems he has learned nothing from them. He seems to keep repeating old patterns. Joshua says that Nick comes from this really strong family, and despite their differences, they always have each others back to keep the family unit strong.
The Young and The Restless star reflected that Y&R’s creator, William J. Bell wanted to tell stories that were based on strong family ties. Perhaps that’s why all the characters, including Nick, keep getting tangled in each others stories. Just like Nick and Adam have gotten embroiled in this love triangle with Sally. Joshua says that the soap had been going on long before he came on board. Moreover, he believes that it will go on long after his times on it comes to a close. He added that he is just so glad to be a part of the iconic show.
