WeTV steps into new territory with its new show “This Is Poly,” as reality TV becomes louder, bolder, and far more controversial. The show questions traditional ideas of love, loyalty, and family structure by being based on a real-life polyamorous relationship. In the teaser clip, Yahweh Poetic, a guy who lives with his four partners (queens), builds a family that already raises eyebrows.
The series shows their shared financial structure, mixed family life, and several children living under one roof, where emotions often clash. However, the most important question still stands. How does this unusual family actually survive the chaos of love and jealousy?

WeTV and All Reality have already released the official trailer of This Is Poly. This gives viewers a preview of the show’s complicated relationships and emotional chaos. The unscripted show looks into the real-life experiences of modern polyamorous relationships. It focuses on five different couples as they negotiate love beyond traditional boundaries.
The show explores modern, nontraditional family structures. Each group shows unique difficulties, ranging from emotional jealousy to conflicts over trust and commitment. Also, the network has confirmed that This Is Poly will air on Friday, May 29, at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, shortly after the 8 p.m. ET/PT season premiere of Love After Lockup. This will trigger a dramatic reality TV takeover.
The teaser for “This Is Poly” quickly plunges viewers into the bizarre world of Yahweh Poetic. He is the lone “king” among four queens who share his marital structure. He openly admits that he is free to date anybody he likes, and if everyone is on board, his partners are equally open to making new friends. Although the family does not rely on a formal marriage, they claim that their relationship goes beyond legal paperwork.
When the producers ask about the group’s best part of being polyamorous, the answer quickly gets clear, intensifying the situation even more. One partner admits that s*x defines their day-to-day existence and that she receives constant s*xual attention within the group. She is called the “freaky one” by another partner, who laughs off jealousy and makes fun of her looks and personality.
The conversation turns into unexpected comments about physical intimacy, nail jokes, and joking insults. Yahweh himself says that the home runs on constant affection and lovemaking, as shown by the increasing number of children constantly being recorded on camera. Another scene shows pure chaos at the family dinner table, with kids filling every corner of the house while the adults fight to keep order. According to Yahweh and his queens, they raise between 18 and 19 children, depending on who is counting.
They manage everything using a shared pot method, in which all earnings are combined into a single pool. There are still emotional cracks even after the framework. Yahweh becomes irritated when one partner reminds him of their 4th anniversary, which he has totally forgotten. A loud argument breaks out in the kitchen as the others join in, blaming him for ignoring all relationship milestones. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for more updates.
