TLC Unexpected: Jason Korpi Claims He Was ‘Caring For His Family’ As He Didn’t Let Kylen Be On Epidurals During Childbirth
Jason Korpi has become one of the biggest villains to come out of a reality TV franchise. It all began when his girlfriend Kylen was close to giving birth to their son, Xavier. While they waited at the birth center, the star didn’t let his baby mama be on epidurals. Apparently, he defended this by saying he doesn’t want the child to be “hooked up” on drugs after coming into this world. Hence, viewers found this very irrational and began shaming him for allegedly abusing his partner on national TV.
At last, Jason recalled that moment again by putting a survey related to “drug overdose” on his Instagram. That’s when he explained that he didn’t want Kylen to get fent (fentanyl) “pumped in” her without her “permission”. Later on, Korpi added another “fun fact” by saying these can stay in the baby’s “system” for weeks after causing them “illness”. Then, he sarcastically said, “sorry” for caring for his family. As this happened, TLC Unexpected viewers were quick to point out that he didn’t have any mention of “epidurals” in his post.
Later on, a lot of viewers took to Reddit to call out Jason’s post. In fact, many stated that his data was “off”. Additionally, another Redditor talked of having seen no woman be addicted to “epidurals”. At last, most of them agreed on feeling “embarrassed” for both the teen parents. Moreover, many ended up calling Jason “brainless” for saying that taking epidural anesthesia is same as having a drug overdose.
TLC Unexpected: Jason & Kylen Kicked Off From The Show?
The latest TLC Unexpected season came to an end after a two-part Tell All special. Hence, viewers got to find out how the teen parents and their babies were doing since the filming concluded. During this, controversial castmates Kylen and Jason also became part of the show. As usual, they were not at all sorry for their actions. In fact, they and their parents defended the teen parents for going a “good job” in the show. However, Jason began to get angry when most cast members, especially the teen moms, began to call out his acts.
Eventually, Jason talked about giving a concluding statement at the end of the show. But, he and Kylen ended up going away before that could happen.
