Apparently, during the season finale, she revealed that she had been taking Plan B every month. Plan B is the morning-after pill, whose usage is for emergency purposes only.

Previously, she refused to use birth control because it would affect her hormones. However, she is using Plan B for preventing pregnancies, which is a high dosage of hormones itself. However, she was seemingly totally unaware of the dark side of such high-risk medications. Its repetitive usage is not a safer alternative to birth control because it is more unpredictable than regular birth control pills.

TLC Unexpected makers have been receiving a lot of heat for casting Bella and Hunter and giving the spotlight to someone as questionable as Falen. Needless to say, the fandom has been urging the network to cancel the segment altogether. They think their storyline is sending a deranged message and setting questionable examples.

Now, many fans have noticed that TLC has released two different versions of the finale. In one of them, the makers have edited out the aforementioned scene in which Falen exposed Bella to Plan B every month. That episode also featured scenes in which Bella wanted another baby with Hunter. However, in the new version, that scene is nowhere to be seen.

Instead, the fandom noticed that the makers had completely edited out the scene and replaced it with one featuring Hunter’s graduation news. Moreover, in the newer version, Stacie talked about teaching the teen parents to better take care of themselves so they can better care for Wes. Creator Elle Bee has also pointed out these stark differences.
