It was about the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) founder Bill Gothard. The 19-year-old cast member revealed her opinions about the docuseries. A renowned blogger from M is for Mama shared her response by saying she is not a fan of Gothard. Moreover, she went on to say that she only knew the Christian groups from other families who had the same beliefs. Also, Lydia pointed out that she saw a push lately to lump all of them together. She added that people mix Bible-believing Christian homeschoolers with the IBLP way of thought. However, she admits that she grew up differently. Well, Lydia reshared the post to share her response.
Lydia simply stated that people “can’t just lump everyone together.” Moreover, she accused them of assuming that they were all the same. The TLC personality further addressed everyone who had been messaging her for her response. She went on to express she hasn’t been, and she won’t be.
