Welcome To Plathville: Lydia Is All Set To Teach Her Siblings Amidst Her Parent’s Divorce
In June, Kim and Barry announced their divorce, citing differences. Kim believes that over the last 25 years, she has been the only one who has taken care of the kids and family and made efforts in the relationship. She also acknowledged that Barry took her for granted and she did not feel valued in the relationship. The mother of ten children wanted to be with someone who cared for her and loved her. She even shared this with Lydia. The younger daughter acts as a mediator between both of her parents.
And now, in the absence of her mother, she is taking care of her younger siblings, as per Starcasm. Although now her mother is back in the house, she is still very much focused on her dance studio. Lydia is helping her siblings in their work, teaching them, and also taking care of her house. She is the most responsible Plath sibling. Fans were shocked that she was not the oldest as the 18-year-old was always seen taking care of her family and siblings. Moreover, she is making efforts to make amendments between her parents. However, Lydia got a bank job and had to work 8-9 hours. Additionally, she also has other jobs to do, and now one more responsibility is added to her shoulder.

The Plath siblings moved out of the house at a very young age. Hosanna initially took care of the house before getting married in 2019. The other sibling, Moriah and Micah moved to Los Angeles to pursue their career. Ethan also left the house in season one with Olivia after his parents fought with his wife. Moriah tried to make amends between them and planned a visit to Joshua’s grave.
Nonetheless, it all helped Ethan to meet his mother finally. In the last week’s episode, Ethan confronts Kim for homeschooling them and not allowing them to be with other kids. He blamed her for making it difficult for him to compete with the students of his age. Also, he admits because they were not allowed to date before marriage, it led him to marry Olivia without knowing her.
