Olivia finally announced her divorce on social media. She talked of building a “forever” with her husband, Ethan, by getting married at 18. However, things were different now. In the seven years since her marriage, Olivia had massive realizations.
She thought she had married someone who was a “reflection of the world” she wanted to live in. Now, the star is “questioning, deconstructing and rebuilding.” Olivia still wants to honor the good memories and wants to go separate ways as “wide, old brave” young adults.

But the Welcome To Plathville star admitted that Lord knows they tried to “give it all they had.” As per Ethan, he and Olivia constantly pulled each other in “opposite directions” with “different goals.”
The eldest Plath sibling also tried to end the post on a good note. Ethan said how he wished Olivia “the best in the future.” At the same time, he revealed how he would “always” care for her “deeply.” Since this announcement, none of the other Plaths have reacted to the news. Welcome To Plathville: Olivia’s Sister, Sophia, Had Already Confirmed The Divorce!
The news of Olivia and Ethan’s divorce hasn’t been shocking to the fans. That’s because a member of the former’s family had already spilled the beans regarding the same.
Well, it was Olivia’s sister, Sophia Megg Roberts. While interacting with a fan on Instagram, she confirmed that Welcome To Plathville Season 5 will air on TLC quite soon.
Sophia also mentioned how Ethan and Olivia were in the “middle of a divorce.” The comment has since then been deleted, but it didn’t fail to shock the entire fanbase. The news came out in July this year.
Apart from this, fans had already noticed Olivia without her ring in various places. She also did a bold photoshoot and took solo vacations, hinting at her split even more.
But Olivia back then denied the rumors. She stated how her relationship with her sibling, Sophia, was “estranged.” She was also called an “unreliable source” when it came to the cast member’s “personal life.” As Plath denied these rumors, the truth about her split with Ethan is now finally out in front of everyone 3 months later.
