Welcome To Plathville: Olivia Opens Up About Getting Back To Therapy
Now that Ethan and Olivia are two years into their marriage, they might be planning for a baby. However, before they get ahead with it, they are making sure to be at a happy place. In an interview with PEOPLE, Olivia revealed going back to her therapy sessions for being healthy. She explained that she began it last month after the realization dawned upon her that she’s not in a healthy place.
Moving ahead, Olivia talked about the couple’s plan of birthing a baby. However, she explained that both of them need to heal and deal with their childhood before they expand their brood. She further chuckled at the fact that a lot of people believe that she comes from a nice place and destroyed Ethan’s family. Instead, Olivia was brought up in a conservative family, and her upbringing was much like her husband’s.
Olivia Reveals Growing Up In A Conservative Place
Olivia shared that viewers see what’s up on the screen. However, she wishes that they might see where she comes from and all her struggles. She added that she does want the people to know more about her and her background. She shared about growing up in a family where women had no right to raise their voices or do jobs. Olivia is certainly proud of running a photography business and is definitely not afraid of anything. She continued by saying that she must have come a long way now. However, she also started in the same place as Ethan’s.
Season 2 of Welcome to Plathville saw the family split into three separate households. While Micah and Moriah ventured out to pursue their careers, Ethan and Olivia were distanced from the family for their peace of mind. As of now, the couple has no plan to reconcile with the Plaths and are happy to be where they are.
