Welcome To Plathville star Kim softened about Barry as she gave him a second chance to prove he has changed for her. She initiated their divorce and also left him in disdain. She announced in 2022 that she would end their 24 years of marital bliss, a move that took the fandom by surprise.

Kim stated that Barry had neglected her for years, so she felt she was done with him. She blamed him for never financially supporting her during the divorce case, failing to look out for her when she was arrested. In the finale episode of last year’s Welcome To Plathville, Barry and Kim Plath met in a wine bar for a celebration. The former couple hit a major milestone as the judge issued a verdict stating they are officially separated. To celebrate the verdict, they sat down opposite each other on chairs for a friendly talk.

Barry politely asked Kim what she would want to drink. She quipped that she hoped he would buy her a bottle of white wine, if not a glass. He didn’t refuse to offer it to her. They ordered behind the cameras. Barry said someone was whining, referring to Kim and her dream of sipping some wine. Unfortunately, she couldn’t fulfill her wish of gulping down a whole bottle since the waitress mistakenly brought their order of two alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Welcome To Plathville: Kim Takes Back Barry For A Reconciliation!

Kim and Barry’s reconciliation news is running rampant on Facebook and other social media platforms, but it’s untrue. The Welcome To Plathville exes haven’t given their marriage another chance, at least not her giving him another chance to win her trust. There is no sign of a fresh start after the loneliness Kim endured at the hands of her ex-husband.

Barry won’t do a redemption because he is delighted to see Kim happy with Ken, and he’s also glad he’s going back to dating. Yes, he is ready to mingle with a woman he finds desirable. He has stated his preference for Sandra Bullock’s looks and olive skin. Meanwhile, Kim is enjoying her live-in relationship with her boyfriend, Ken. 

Kim has also approved of Barry dating again because she no longer has feelings for him. He also lost all his feelings for his ex-wife. They are now more like two friends meeting with their kids to spend quality time as one wholesome family, making endless memories. Barry has no grudge against Kim, nor does she, even if he ignored her emotions in the past.

Barry got Kim’s advice on how to progress in dating. She was shocked to know that for five long years, he remained aloof from the dating world. She told him to go for it without much thinking.
