90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days is soon to hit the screen and fans couldn’t be more eager. One of the couples that have been gaining a lot of popularity is Avery and Omar. She is 19 years old, and she met 24-year-old Omar on a Muslim dating website. She converted into Islam a few months ago. Her journey from being an average Christian American teenager to a devoted Muslim has been filled with challenges. Recently, she has opened up about moving to Syria. Her mom is trying to be supportive of her. Let’s take a look at some more details.
90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days; Avery’s Plans To Meet Omar
Avery opened up about her plans to meet Omar in Lebanon. She is also planning to move to Syria unless she can bring him to the US. Unfortunately, not all her friends and family are supportive of what she is about to do. She met two of her friends, and Rachel was clearly shocked. She said that Avery declared that she is getting married out of the blue. When another friend questioned how long she is going to wait to get intimate with Omar, Avery said that they are going to take it slow.
Her friends are shocked as Avery has always been kind of rough and wild in her relationships. Omar hasn’t even kissed a girl before. Avery also states that after converting to Islam, she has stopped being reckless. She is happy that Omar doesn’t judge her on the basis of her past. She also knows that there is going to be a lot of backlash over her conversion to Islam. But she is ready for negative comments and doesn’t really care what others have to say in this regard.
90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days; Avery’s Mom’s Concern
Avery’s mom is accompanying her daughter for this trip to Lebanon. However, she is definitely not pleased with her daughter’s recent decision. She is going with her to Syria only to ensure her safety. Her views and her daughter’s decisions have been clashing as we saw in a preview clip. Avery covers her entire body and only shows her face and hands. However, her mother was more comfortable with the American version of her.
She was in the cheerleading squad and wore provocative outfits. Avery also used to party hard and was just like a regular American teenager. She is obviously concerned about her daughter’s decision to travel all the way to a war-torn country. Her entire family and friend circle are having a great deal of difficulty in accepting Avery’s new lifestyle.
As for Omar, we don’t know for sure about who he really is. Well, that’s the thing about long-distance relationships. You never know the whole truth unless you meet the other person! Especially when you fall in love online. Watch the entire story unfold on the season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days.
