When Loren came to the Philippines, he admitted to only having $46 in his pocket. He has also expressed his plans of permanently living in the new country and moving away from America where his ex wife hounds him for child support for his two kids. Amidst all this, he began a relationship with Faith and keeps finding ways to convince her to let him be part of the family.
During the time they dated for 6 months online, Loren slept around once a week, and he admitted it to Faith. She had already made peace with his homelessness, but this was too low. So, she cried her heart out, and things changed. She mentioned in the confessional about being unsure of making him meet the rest of the family!
