Chuck is concerned due to Andrei’s lack of abilities to find work in America. He used to be a bouncer in Ireland at the time fans saw him and Libby in a long-distance relationship waiting for his K1 visa. However, Andrei told his father-in-law that he is going to get his truck driving license soon.
However, even after their American wedding, Andrei was unable to find a full-time job. This raised the same old doubts Chuck had in the first place. He has always been of the opinion that Andrei is not competent enough to take the financial responsibility of his wife and daughter.

Libby was still the breadwinner of the family and Andrei didn’t manage to secure a job. Elizabeth worked as the property manager for her dad. However, the pandemic led to Chuck cutting her salary in half.
