Andrei hadn’t seen his family for over three years. It’s understandable that he wanted to spend some quality time with them. However, once the couple reached there, it became clear that Libby was no longer the in-charge of her dream wedding. In fact, when they were having dinner, things took a turn when Andrei’s brother was up for taking on the role of the little girl’s Godfather.
Another shocker was that the family was Orthodox Christian. They follow traditions that have a list of things to be done before the couple could get married or the baby could be baptized. According to their tradition, Libby would have to get baptized at her husband’s church. Even though she said that she is a Southern Baptist, her sister-in-law thought that she is not even Christian. But later, she understood that Libby wasn’t Orthodox. Andrei said that this was something she had to do, but she felt like he would have known that but cornered her.
