When asked whether he has been arrested in the past, Ronald straight away said, “Yeah. Plenty of times.” He then specified that he got arrested around 5-6 times. Fans are well aware of Ronald’s gambling past. Therefore, it didn’t come as a shock to the viewers. However, Ronald’s attitude in the interview was definitely a shock to many.

Furthermore, Ronald explained how it was like to be arrested in South Africa. He quoted, “So, basically if you get pulled over for a DUI, you get arrested by the police, and the following day you get out.” One time, Ronald also got arrested because of his gambling addiction.

However, she couldn’t do anything at the time other than to listen to Ronald’s casual replies. Ronald’s attitude also made fans wonder whether he has left gambling or not.

Ronald Smith’s addiction to gambling led him to the criminal path in the past. He was dragged down to a phase where he even stole money from his house. Starcasm reported that Ronald confessed to pawning his mother’s stuff. The star went to prison for drinking and driving, speeding, burglary, and many more such things. Although the best part of the story is that Tiffany’s father, Carlos has agreed to co-sponsor Ronald. Tiffany was scared to tell her father about Ronald. Carlos has met Ronald only one time. Soapdirt reported Tiffany meeting her father for lunch to ask about the co-sponsorship as she falls under the income requirement. Tiffany also came clean to her father about Ronald’s gambling and criminal records.

Tiffany spilled, “Ronald has had a problem with gambling for a while. And, not only that but the way before I met him, Ronald does have a little bit of a record.” Carlos, in astonishment, asks about the record. Tiffany then explained her husband’s past criminal record to her father. Moreover, she assured that all the records have been withdrawn. Indeed, he is not liable for any criminal record at present. Carlos was definitely a bit concerned about her daughter, but he eventually agreed to become the co-sponsor.
