But the couple ended up going to a marriage lawyer and he put Jenny’s concerns to rest. According to the lawyer, there was no way his parents could stop them from getting married legally. Apparently, they could go to a temple for a ceremonial wedding and register it later.
Even though Jenny was thrilled on hearing the news, Sumit was still a bit hesitant. He said that he wanted to talk to his parents first. Of course, that wasn’t the reaction Jenny was expecting. He was trying to stall the marriage and she didn’t quite understand why. By now it’s pretty clear that Sumit will have to cut ties with his parents if he marries Jenny. But he did agree to have a ring ceremony with Jenny inviting some of his friends.
Jenny is hoping for Sumit to not let her down this time. The initial promise for coming back to India again was that they were going to get married this time. Sobbing, Jenny added that she is happy as long as she is with Sumit and this is the kind of life she has chosen for herself. Jenny also made it clear that she doesn’t want to leave Sumit again. She would love it if his parents could stop being so set in their ways and people could accept them.
Sumit’s Mother Says He Has To Go Over Their Dead Bodies To Get Married To Jenny
In the preview of the upcoming episode, Jenny and Sumit meet up with his parents to tell them that they are finally tying the knot. Immediately, his mother responded, ‘over our dead bodies’. His father started yelling and the situation turned tense really quickly. Jenny understood how his mother feels and that she doesn’t like the relationship.
