Paul’s application for a permanent residency in Brazil has been denied again. Moreover, this time, he has to leave the country in 10 days and go back to the US. In the scene, he is reading out the official notice when he panics and suddenly goes away from the cameras. He has a fuzzy record, and this is the reason why his application keeps getting rejected. Plus, he is a little unstable and is not able to handle tough times with a calm approach.
In addition to that, his wife Karine is also kind of on edge. She is pregnant, and there is a lot of pressure on her to raise the baby right. Her brother pointed it out that Paul doesn’t have the job or money to support her or the baby. The situation is getting a little out of hand with the recent ultimatum.

Laura has had a problematic past. Her husband cheated on her, and they had to separate. The insecurities are still there, and it seems like she is projecting them on to her new beau Aladin. They are already married. In the preview clip, we can see them video chatting. Laura wants to know what he is doing at that moment. Her tone sounds like she is struggling with major trust issues. Aladin seems to be disappointed with all this and expresses his feelings.
Corey’s Major Lifestyle Change
Corey has left his life behind in the US, but he is finding it difficult to adjust in Ecuador. It’s a third-world country and Corey is not able to adapt to it.
