90 Day Fiance star Sarper Guven found a new career path in the U.S. by marrying Shekinah Garner in Season 11. The couple met on a dating app while he was in Turkey and she was on a holiday with her friend. During their first date, his look with some highlighter stole Shekinah’s heart.

Sarper even boasted about his job in the import-export industry, which he had to quit to follow his passion for bodybuilding and fitness. Through his multiple jobs, the reality star met more than 2500 women and got involved with them over the years. Once he revealed he dated several women previously and had one-night stands with them. Lastly, he had to bid farewell to his erotic performer role after dancing at more than 600 bachelorette parties.

Sarper Guven became a successful personal trainer in Los Angeles after his parents disliked his profession as a dancer. He got into the fitness industry after coming to America with a K-1 visa for his wife, Shekinah. In January 2025, the TLC celeb declared a free boot camp for his fans on Instagram through a post.
“I have just started to give one-to-one personal training coaching sessions in Los Angeles, “Sarper wrote in the post’s caption. He revealed to his followers and fans that he had 20 years of personal training experience. He has worked with many clients, helping them with their workout sessions and preparing their diet program.
Sarper added that he would be there for his clients three to four times a week in the gym for one-to-one classes. He concluded by saying that, with his support, they would succeed. After the post came to the fans’ feed, they felt things had changed significantly since he had moved to California with Shekinah.
While Shekinah interfered in Sarper’s fitness job, he struggled financially. She prevented him from touching females as a personal trainer as they exercised and made sure he didn’t have women as his clients. Unfortunately, 90 percent of his customers were ladies, which made Shekinah super jealous and caused her to start having trust issues.
