
Noted Chrisley Knows Best stars Todd and Julie Chrisley are now out of prison. Since their release, they’ve been sharing shocking details from their time behind bars. One of the biggest surprises turned out to be that Todd didn’t just make enemies, he made a best friend, too. He admitted to a lot of shocking things. This included Todd’s prison threats. He had a tense exchange with noted felon William Singer.
While most of Todd’s experience in prison was upsetting and unkind, he did talk about some positive moments too. It turns out, Todd ended up befriending someone and they got so close that he even called him his “best buddy”! Todd talked about it all in the latest podcast episode with his daughter, Savannah. So, who was it?

Todd once bickered and threatened to “put hands on” William Singer. Chrisley Knows Best fans must know the latter as the the architect of the notorious US college admissions scandal. He and Todd were in the same prison. The reality TV star claimed Singer was creating trouble and targeting him. They had tried talking first but it didn’t work out and they went thei rseparte ways.
But a few months later, Chrisley heard Singer take his daughter Savannah’s name. Todd said he was pushed to the edge. He didn’t want to fight, but he felt provoked. He threatened that if he ever heard the latter say his daughter’s name again, he would “rip his head off” and “sh*t down his neck.” Well, they never got into a physical altercation. Well, Todd also recalled befriending someone special in prison.
It turns out that picking fights and making threats wasn’t the only thing Todd Chrisley did inside the prison. He recalled befriending someone as soon as he had started in the correctional unit. Well, the Chrisley Knows Best star made a surprising connection. A man named Jig stepped up to help him on his first day. Todd didn’t know what to think at first.
Todd was confused when he saw new clothes, tennis shoes, and a shaving kit on his bed. He thought someone had left it there by mistake. He worried about accepting anything for free. After all, in prison, everything comes with a price. But soon, a short but muscular man came into his room. It was Jig, and he told Todd he had been told to look out for him. Todd offered to pay, but Jig refused kindly.
Jig said he didn’t want anything in return. He just wanted to make sure Todd had what he needed. From that moment on, they became close friends. Both Savannah and his wife Julie were smiling warmly at Todd as he recalled this incident. They were glad someone had his back during the toughest of times.
