On Tuesday, a fan asked Jill in her Instagram post as to why Duggar kids rush into married life. The fan was curious to note that Justin, who is just 18, is already engaged to his girlfriend, Claire. This followed two months after he announced his courtship. Of course, this seems like a hasty decision because, according to the fan, the two are very young. They were visibly surprised to discover this news and so posed this question to Jill.
Counting On: Derick Jokes On Duggars Marry Young, Says We Want To Have Sex
Derick took it upon himself to joke upon the subject of sex! He replied to the follower that the Duggars rush into marriage because they ‘want to have sex.’ A fan said that this was the best response ever! Others seemed to agree with this. On the other hand, Jill Dillard added a comment saying that Derick is more popular than her. Both Jill and Derick share two sons – Israel and Samuel.
Jill Duggar Is Distancing From Her Family, Hopes That Healing Will Come Eventually
Jill featured on television when she was doing 19 Kids and Counting. She continued to document her life along with other members until the show stopped running in 2015. However, she went on to do the spinoff series Counting On till 2017. She left the show after her husband was fired from the show because of his transphobic tweets. Right after that, the couple has slowly branched out of the family completely. They’re designing their lives in their own way!
Jill has broken free from her uber-conservative family. She took to using birth control as well as consuming alcohol. Note that all of these are strictly prohibited in the Duggar world. In her recent Youtube video, Jill admitted that she is away from her family. There is a difference of opinions, and it would probably take time to resolve the issues amongst them. She believes that healing will happen but it shall take time. Although she didn’t expect that something like this would happen, it did and now things are put in God’s hand. However, Jill notes that she’s happy for her family. She is enjoying her life with Derick and their two boys.
