Counting On: Jinger Vuolo Welcomes Her Second Child
Jinger Vuolo gave birth to her daughter Evangeline Jo on November 22. This is the Duggars’ 19th grandchild who’s born recently after Joy-Anna welcomed her daughter in August. The most interesting part is that these two bundles of joy are going to share the same name. When TLC made an announcement post for Jinger’s baby, the fans couldn’t help but talk out their concerns about the similarity in the names in the comments. One of them wrote that the two girls would probably have the same nickname – Evy. This seemed strange to them.
Joy-Anna Confirms That Her And Jinger’s Daughters Have Same Nicknames
A fan even went to Joy-Anna’s Instagram and asked her if the two cousins are going to have the same nicknames. And voila! Joy confirmed that yes, this would be the thing. While some fans found it strange, others perceived it as cute. Although Evelyn and Evangeline sound similar, they do not have the same meanings. Evelyn literally means ‘wished for’ and Joy and Austin’s daughter happens to be the rainbow baby for them. So, this might be the reason why they named her Evelyn.
On the other hand, Evangeline means ‘bringer of good news.’ We know that both Jinger and Jeremy have strongly bent towards Christianity so a name as this was probably on the cards. Either way, Duggars often give their children Biblical or religious names.
Joy-Anna And Austin Had Tough Time Deciding The Name
Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth welcomed their daughter in August this year. This is their second child after son Gideon.
