We have seen on reality TV shows that religion can be a major factor in determining the future of a couple.
At first, she refused to shake Alex’s hand. She stated that she has got dog hair on her hand. She tells the cameras that she is going to listen to them and keep her mouth shut. Her mom went straight to the point and asked Alex why he was incarcerated. Glorietta pointed out that it was blatantly straightforward.
She also asked him whether he is going to hang out with his previous group. To that, he answers that he doesn’t even associate with them anymore. He admitted in front of the cameras that there was a time when he was attracted to the dark life. It was an addictive lifestyle according to him.

Just when you thought she was done interrogating, Glorietta’s mother asked Alex his religion. He said that he is a Muslim. When she asks how long he has been a Muslim, he replies 10 years. She reacted in an abrupt manner, and straightaway stated that she has a problem with him being a Muslim. At that time, Glorietta interrupted and asked her mom why she is asking so many questions. To that, she snapped and told her daughter that she should let her talk to her fiance.
Glorietta explains that she is not a kid or a teen. To that, her mom says that she is still her daughter. She also goes on to say that Alex is a man, and he can defend himself. The scene concludes with her asking Alex that if the couple were to have a child, would he come back to Christianity? It is a point of concern for the couple.
