Matt and Amy mostly fail to see eye to eye. That’s precisely why they split in 2017. But LPBW continued to document their lives. As per Little People Big World Season 25, they joined forces to organize a fundraiser in Roloff Farms. While they were doing it all for a good cause, they didn’t fail to lock horns over various things while hosting the event.
In the new episode, Matt found out through Amy that his estranged son, Zach, won’t be attending the fundraiser. Well, it was a lot to consider due to the magnitude of the event. He had a very shocking reaction after being so calm and polite, hoping his son would forgive him. So, what exactly did Matt do?
LPBW: Matt Comes To Amy’s Rescue But Does It While Bashing Tori and Zach!
Matt and Zach Roloff have a history. The father-son are no longer close to one another. That’s because of the farm feud that took place a few years ago. At first, Zach and Tori wanted to live there and raise their kids. But once they couldn’t make a deal, their bond soured, and the couple moved to Washington with their children. Since then, they stopped visiting the farm often.
As Amy and Matt were preparing for the fundraiser, the former found out Zach and Tori wouldn’t come. That’s because they had “other plans.” While the matriarch was okay with that, her ex didn’t take it well. He accused the LPBW duo of intentionally coming up with a plan that would coincide with the fundraising so that they would have an excuse not to come.
At the same time, Matt also mentioned that it was very disrespectful for them to do such a thing to Amy. But she said she was fine with Zach and Tori not coming as their kids wouldn’t also accompany them. Hence, it was unfair to be upset at just the two of them. Fans were also in shock. They had never seen Matt defend Amy so much.
Some LPBW fans had a theory that Matt was just looking for ways to bash Zach and Tori at this point. Hence, he did so in disguise of fighting for Amy. Viewers didn’t take to it well. They started slamming Matt for spoiling his bond with Zach by setting an unreasonable price for the farm and never selling it to his son.

While Matt was upset about Zach not joining the family for the fundraiser, other things happened in LPBW, too. This season, the former also proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Caryn. They are looking forward to a small wedding on the farm in 2024. Matt said almost every single one of his kids was happy by this, but there was someone who didn’t even bother to reply.
Well, it was none other than Zach and Tori. One of the producers decided to ask the former about how he felt about his father’s engagement. He politely excused himself from speaking about it. Fans could sense that Zach’s wounds regarding the feud had not healed. Hence, he ended up resorting to not giving any comment at all.
