Mama June Shannon has had the best weight loss transformation on television. After a terrible drug addiction history, she is back to her healthy self. At the onset, she weighed over 400 pounds. However, the “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo!” lost hundreds of pounds in the due course of time. Coming from a normal background and hitting it off with a reality show, she knew how drastically life can turn around. Mama June: June Shannon Lost Hundreds Of Pounds
Right in the beginning before her weight loss program, June Shannon weighed around 460 pounds. She decided to drop some pounds after her breakup from longtime boyfriend, Sugar Bear, in 2014. Come 2015, June Shannon trained under a celebrity trainer and managed to lose 60 pounds by July. This was followed by the reality star showcased her new size 16 down from a size 28, four months later. Once, June shared some tips on her weight loss. She achieved the milestone by doing regular tasks with more vigor as well as walking three miles a day in her neighborhood. She finally had her gastric sleeve surgery in 2016.
Mama June: Shannon Went For Multiple Cosmetic Procedures
Within a year, her weight loss topped 150 pounds. This led to build-up of excess skin which was removed later on. She had a series of cosmetic surgeries including a breast lift, a tummy tuck, and tightening of the skin on her arms, neck, and chin. Later in 2016, June Shannon attended the wedding of her ex Sugar Bear in her ‘revenge dress.’ According to her, the event was pretty awkward for her.

The WE tv fans were thrilled to see the new look of Shannon on the screens. Until the show aired, Mama June remained undercover. Despite her friendly personality, she managed to stay under the radar. Her changed look was a surprise for all the fans of Mama June: From Not to Hot. In April 2017, two days after the show’s premiere, the world saw Mama June in her full glory. She finally stepped out in Georgia and pledged to maintain her weight loss.
