According to Dottie, the producers not only created fake storylines for more drama, in her case, but they also fabricated the entire storyline. She first appeared in the fourth season of My 600 Lb Life and has dropped from 641 pounds to 295 pounds, which is her current weight. This is a pretty impressive accomplishment.
Her debut episode featured a long conversation with Dr. Now. He suggested Dottie being hospitalized so that the doctors can monitor her diet.
