It seems like the production company of My 600 Lb Life is in a lot more trouble. Last year, LB Bonner’s family filed a lawsuit against the firm for being negligent towards Bonner. Another lawsuit followed shortly at the end of January 2020. David Bolton has also filed a lawsuit against Megalomedia for negligence.
According to both David Bolton and Bonner’s family, Megalomedia promised them that they will pay all the medical bills. But in the end, they didn’t and the bill collectors harassed Bonner. Moreover, the company also didn’t provide much needed mental healthcare to the cast members. According to them, this negligence took Bonner’s life.
Recently, the season 7 star Angela announced that she completely supports the lawsuit Bonner’s family has filed against the company. Let’s take a look.

Not only is Angela happy that the audience will know the truth about the show, but she is also open to helping the family in court if they need her. The reality TV star goes on to say that what people see on TV is not always true. Well, to some extent, we can agree with her statement. In addition to supporting the legal action against Megalomedia, she also hinted that she might explore some legal course of action as well. Angela was elated to see someone dragging the show’s production to the court. Even though she expresses her distress at Bonner’s suicide, Angela goes on to say that she fully understands his situation.

What tipped viewers off was the ending of the episode which she debuted. Angela said that she has lost 120 pounds after returning from Houston to Ohio on her own. To that, Dr. Now called her delusional and even fans were not impressed.
Megalomedia responded to Bonner’s family lawsuit by declaring all their accusations as false. They also said that they were deeply upset by Bonner’s death.
