Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills celebrity Teddi Mellencamp is seeking advice from her online community as her medical treatment for stage 4 cancer progresses. On July 15, she shared an image-by-image comparison on Instagram featuring two wigs, one blonde and one brunette. She asked fans to weigh in on her color choices for her hair. Many celebrity personalities showed slight support for the brunette wig, though most comments noted she looked amazing in both.

“Two wigs, same level of exhaustion,” Teddi paired the post with a witty caption and a light-hearted line, “Which colour would you prefer to send you a 3-minute-long voice note?” The update quickly gathered hundreds of replies from her million followers. In the next month, she issued a further report through her podcast  Two Ts in a Pod, which she co-hosts with Tamra Judge.

“Last time, they checked my brain, and those tumors are shrinking. And then today I had the scan, where they checked my lungs and they are shrinking and one of them has shrunk so much you can barely even see it,” she said in her podcast episode. She further stated that she planned to continue her immunotherapy treatments for the coming two years. Her followers have praised her for having a sense of humour despite the health issue.

She has made no official statement regarding any significant changes to her medical timeline after that. She has, nevertheless, maintained a digital presence and continued to support her podcast. Currently, she has made no conclusive decision on the wig shade, although comments have been made on her latest post.
