It’s been a while since the TLC world was stirred around with the news of Christeline’s domestic violence allegations against the Snowdens. She debuted in the most recent season of the Seeking Sister Wife, and while the episodes were still on the air, the reports of her court case came out. The accusations were pretty severe, and almost all other sister wives stood up against the couple. Yet, the case was dismissed, and both Dimitri and Ashley were freed from the allegations. However, Chrissy’s life has turned around, and she’s still struggling to take care of herself and her kids.

After Christeline’s case against the Snowdens was dismissed, Dimitri filed for divorce against her. As per updates, the case is still ongoing and might take a while to proceed. However, this situation has left Chrissy and her kids struggling to survive in the USA. The South African native was only dependant on Dimitri and Ashley when she flew to the States. Hence, she barely had anyone to support her as she filed the domestic violence case. Her fellow sister wives, Vanessa Cobbs and Tayler Monique, started a fundraiser (GoFundMe campaign) for her alongside blogger John Yates and actress Ariadne Joseph, who also accused Dimitri of abuse.
This helped Peterson and her daughters to get through a hard time. Hence, she took to her Instagram to thank people for their support. She expressed her gratitude for her supporters and informed them that she and her kids are “ok” now. However, Chrissy said that there are things that she won’t be able to share with everyone. Well, her daughters are doing fine for now, but they still have a long journey ahead. She even said that things are “a little scary,” but the TLC star is trying to keep her head up and push through this time.
However, this suggests that she might still be in some kind of trouble right now. Well, as of now, the single mom might not be able to reveal what’s actually going on with her family because of the TLC contract. But she promised to keep her supporters updated as things progress.

Christeline Peterson went through a lot of things during her stay at the Snowdens, based on what she alleges. Hence, fans assumed that now that she’s separating from him, she should move back to South Africa. Yet, the reality TV star plans on staying in the States as per her recent post. Chrissy included in her latest Instagram post that she is looking for new accommodation in California. This was when fans hoarded in to suggest how she should move back, and some even said that she’s doing this for the “green card”. On the other hand, some people warned her that California would be too expensive for her. In fact, she should live in another state if she plans to stay in the US.
However, this is when some of her fans came in her support and pointed out that the divorce case is still in process. Hence, she might have to wait until it is finalized. Some of them said it would be hard for her to move back until she’s financially stable. Besides, her kids are young, and they might have started schooling in California, which could be why she wants to stay there. Nevertheless, we hope that she’s fine wherever she decides to live.
