The Browns from TLC show Sister Wives decided to move to Flagstaff in 2018. Their decision and the story following it were featured on the show. Initially, Kody proposed that this move will turn out to be financially beneficial in the long run. However, the Browns are buried under their financial mess. They are struggling to get everything right. The question is, how much did they spend on attracting money problems? Let us have a look.
Sister Wives: Browns Struggled Selling Las Vegas Properties
The Brown family took almost a year to sell their Las Vegas properties. When they decided to move to Arizona, there were loose ends left behind. All the four wives of Kody – Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn – struggled to sell their houses. They believed that everything would be done in no time. However, the properties lost their value, staying unbought for a long time in the market.
Robyn’s house was the first one to sell, followed by Janelle and then Meri. Christine’s was the last one after she sold it for $535,000.
Christine And Robyn Purchased Properties, Meri And Janelle Live In Rented Houses
The Brown family has been living in Flagstaff for two years now. However, two of the four sister wives are still living in rented properties. Although Meri and Janelle do not live a frugal life, they are yet to find a permanent settlement. Meri’s house costs her $4,500 per month while Janelle rents a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom house for $2,900 per month. Both Christine and Robyn purchased separate properties for themselves.
Sister Wives: How Much The Brown Family Spent?
According to a news tabloid, the Browns ended up spending around $1.8 million on properties after moving to Flagstaff. Amidst all the multiple moves, rent payments, mortgages, and taxes, the family’s finances sunk. On top of that, they spent about $800,000 on their Coyote Pass property that still lies barren and unused. And with all these expenditures, the family shelled more than $500,000 on Christine’s house. On the other hand, Robyn Brown purchased a property with Kody for $890,000.
