TLC recently shared yet another sneak peek into the upcoming Sunday’s episode of Sister Wives. The Browns recently went to see their polygamist friends, The Dargers, in Utah, where they once lived. The clip sees both of the families gathered together in the Darger Kitchen as they talk about building their dream house while also talking about how a polygamy relationship is extremely difficult.
Joe and Kody Speak About Their Dream House
The clip sees all the nine people as they stand in the kitchen. Joe Darger speaks about building his final dream house where the family will have a shared kitchen but have separate apartments for his three wives. Everyone chuckles, and then Alina, Joe’s wife, says that Joe also wants his own bedroom. Kody fist bumps to this and asks excitedly if Joe really wants his own bedroom because Kody would never get that; that wouldn’t be allowed.
After this conversation, wives started to react. Christine says that plural men never get time alone, but plural women do. She then says that she thinks that plural men get jealous of the time these women get. Then Janelle says that Dargers are able to make their family work while living together, with one kitchen. She commended them for figuring it all out. Janelle is indeed a supporter of the one-house-for-one-family idea. However, that idea has been met with rejection a lot. Robyn mocks Kody when he complains about the closet space his wives take. She then says that Kody will survive if they all can survive sharing him and dealing with all the jealousy and the drama that goes on with the plural marriage, then he will be okay.
Sister Wives: Kody Feels That The Problem Is Fellowship
While the Wives cook and speak, Kody takes Joe to the side and says that their biggest problem is that they don’t have other polygamist families to have fellowship with. Joe agrees to point, and it looks like he understands what Kody is trying to say. Kody then talks about the feeling of safety and home when he sees the Dargers that makes him emotional.
Meri says that they are starting to react more like individual family rather than considering it as a whole. Meri takes to the confessional and says that they are surrounded by non-polygamist families
mostly. So, they are starting to act like them. She continues that there was a time when they were pulled together and struggled through everything together. But now, she does not feel that they all are together. Rather she feels that they are struggling independently.
